Kanemere Dog Training is operated by Nichola Makin.

Nichola has owned German Shepherds for the last twenty years. She started formal dog training classes when she acquired Ella as a puppy in 1994. She started at West Lancs Canine Centre as a student in the puppy class. In 1995 she was invited to join their dog display team. The team compromises of voluntary members who over the years have entertained audiences from charity events for local animal charities to major county shows and corporate events. She began to instruct from 1996 and at the beginning of 1997 qualified at the British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers.

Kanemere Dog Training was formed in 2004, when Nichola was living in Caithness, in Scotland and in 2007 relocated inWest Lancashire.

Throughout her time as an instructor she has taught at various levels from puppies, giving basic obedience and answering queries on how to deal with their new puppy on a day to day basis, through to people with older dogs who have developed behaviour problems.

At Kanemere we offer a friendly, relaxed atmosphere to train your dog.

We offer puppy socialisation, basic obedience classes, fun agility, flyball and ringcraft.
